He'll get better. Like you said, he's just being a dog. I'd try the dog toys that are puzzles. They have to figure out how to get a treat hidden inside. My dogs are too dumb and lose interest, but it sounds like Torg is really smart.
Be glad you don't have a teething baby and a teething puppy. They chew absolutely everything, and you find little puppy teeth stuck to stuff. It's kinda gross.

Ugh, yeah. If I had two toddlers cutting teeth at the same time, I would probably go insane.
